ok well i been lookiing into new high output Alternators. but my question is do i need one ? what i got so far is.
6x9 s in the rear
Kicker L7 12
Alpine 500w amp.
Flip up screen tv.

what i plan to add soon.
door speakers and a amp for the rears and front speakers.

now my question is do i really need a higher Alternator?

Can i Get away with just getting mine rebuilt for 40$. and just upgrade my battery to a yellow top.

Is a yellow top a good idea?

I've got an MRD-M1005, 1000W Alpine Mono amp and it's fine.
The only thing I notice is the lights dim and the idle jitters when I'm listening. I can almost guarantee that most of that would go away if I did the Big 3.

The only things that are really drawing enough power to make a difference is the amps. The headunit/tv doesn't really draw enough power to make or break the decision.

so i should not get a new battery i did the big 3 and my car like dims BAD like the bass hit and the light look like they are going from high beam to low beam they dime that much

yes get the yellow top...you shouldnt need a new alt tho....but get it tested just incase....
