Well, the original story came from ED, so I'm sure Alex knows, or will find out really soon.
I think this should be interesting to watch unfold. I just hope, in the end, the truth wins out.

We arent worried about anything.
They are going off of assumptions from original prototype drivers, well not assumptions, but the only information that we released at the time.
The first picture shown with the silver basket was our home theater driver the LFR. Totally different motor topology than what the 13Av.2 is.
Its being worked out. And if we are in the wrong, like Ben said. we will change it.
But their major concern was that the basket has a direct gap over the top plate, which the prototypes do have.
The production version actually has an aluminum radiator plate.

If youre spending that much on a sub based on how good it sounds, or loud it gets... who cares how the basket looks anyways? or is there something functional to that design?

Yes it did have something to do with the design...either way....blown out of porportion...
The pictures shown are from prototypes, the production version is a black basket and motor that looks completely different.
We are working it out with them.
If we need to change it, no big deal.
Its not the same basket, same size, or have any of the same measurements. When it was being designed, no one had a picture of a W7 up, or one here.

We never claimed this was better than a W7 ever, its honestly a different speakers.
Comments like this are what start rumors. We will wait until the speaker gets released and people get to listen to it.

ok thats a good thing, i can buy the rest of my ED stuff now
maybe i missed it but are there any specs on this sub ? im not gonna lie i havent heard any ed things. i can see somewhat what they are talking about however they are difforant subs difforant specs i assume, and difforant brands.
