K for all you experts I just want to know how many people think that alpine type X is beter than phoenix gold octain R.

I definately do. We sold both and completely dropped our Phoenix line of products even after they sponsored us at one point. Phoenix equipment has/had some serious quality and service issues in the past five years. Alpine speakers sound better and are built better, plus their service is better in the event of a warranty issue on electronic items.

Alpine is better. But go with Kicker. : )

Alpine would smoke them but if you want more bang for the buck go with power acoustik. its the best thing you can do.

I dont' know PA very well, but we do a lot of upgrading from PA at my store. PA seems to burn up pretty quick. But a lot of kids do buy that stuff from the local shops.
