i am about to buy a 2din in dash screen for my car and was wondering if there was any place that i could buy a kit for it. I have been looking all over the place and havent come up with anything yet.

The Metra 99-2003 kit has the DD kit included within.

i thought you had to cut some of the dash to get a 2 dinn to work.

get the k- 420 kit made by scoche i believe it comes with the single and double din kit....best buy sells it

so those kits would fit the pioneer avic-d3?

The avic is DD so yes. But you will have to trim your bezel a little to make sure all the buttons are accessible because, although the cage will support a DD radio because the stock is DD the button layout is designed to be accessible through the Din 1-1/2 opening. So the shuttle button and the play buttons to the left of the avic will be a little tight if you don't mod the bezel, but give I'd say go for it and take it from there to mod up the bezel. Sand paper and a dremel is all you need to make that thing fit!!!
