Ok I got some new fog lights and I used to have the stock z24 fog lights, but an incident last summer with the biggest racoon in the world caused them to not work anymore, after cutting out all the plastic in all 3 holes i decided I needed to get some more lights. But my question is this, the lights that I bought are 55watt lights will these be ok if I use the stock wires and switch?? I don't need anything melting and starting on fire.

I think the stock ones are 35w. I would use a couple relays, Then run wires from the fogs to the relay.
