I just bought the replacements for the cluster and hvac lights as LEDs. But today I went down to my car to put them in, tore the dash apart and looked inside of the cluster...low and behold, the bulbs look nothing like what I got in the mail, plus they're soldered into the main board. Plus, above all that, I couldn't find a way to get the face plate off to actually look at the circuit board, I just looked though the crack between the board and the plastic frame holding the black cluster face on. So a bit discouraged I went to my HVAC, same thing, not only does the bulb not come out, but the bulb I got in the mail is too big (got two 74s..I think, I got whatever I was told to get). So anyway, I have an 02' Chevy Cavalier Ls 4Dr. If anyone knows if I can just do a cluster swap to a cluster that actually has sockets for the bulbs, same with the HVAC, let me know. Thanks all.
Ok, I thought I knew about all the stickies on the sight, but I guess not, my question was answered in a sticky on the interior forum. Thanks anyway guys.
