need to know how to hook up a 9" neon in my box it's pre wired for a neon but old one was blown i bought a pilot neon n snipped of the end that plugs into the cig lighter n hooked it up but it's not coming on ne one know how to make this work ?????
do you have any power going to the box. I Dont think it will run of speaker power. I would just get a relay and run it off you turn on lead.

a long time ago, i used to hook my 1 up to the amps remote wire, so it would come on whenever the amp/head unit kicked on.
Did the end that plugs into the cigarette lighter have the transformer in it by chance?
it's got a box with the curcuitry in in seprate from the neon cuz it's soo small all the gid lighter part had in it was a no off switch but yeah joey that what i want to do when the amp trns on i want the neon to turn on as well
You can wire in a relay off of the remote turn on wire to turn the light on when the amps turn on
or if all else fails just wire it to a switch it may not be as easy as you'd like but at least itd work

i got it joey helped me out i wired it to the remote wire on y amp n it works n looks sk\ick i'll have to get sum pix up of it later

yeah i see that...But a more simplified one, i know thats simple..but I only have one amp, and 2 subs runnin off it, none of the other stuff...Also...where would i buy a relay?

You can get a relay from local auto parts store, Around here its $3-$5.
