why not make one, its more satisfing(sp) and good to know....so that next time someone asks you can tell em how to make one....
create a template of your 4x6 plate on some cardboard,
match up something thats 6.5" or however big you want , so that it fits,
cut out template, and see if speaker fits,
go test fit cardboard template on door panel,(making sure holes line up)
go to home depo or lowes or whatever ,get some mdf (fiberboard)
trace the pattern of the 4x6 adapter onto the mdf,
then set a 6.5 inch whatever on the fiberboard, make it fit as best you can....
cut out cirle with jig saw
make sure speaker fits,
if not use sandpaper.....please dont cut again and ruin your adapter
okay, speaker fits....
cut out the rest of the design....
go test fit,
take your stock speaker leads and attach them to your new speaker
violia you made your own speaker plate,
with the posts above you have an idea what itll look like, and you can create more magnet room by using thicker mdf
