Boss isn't all that good. If you're going to be spending that much, check into a lanzar opti2000d

Look for a 1 ohm stable monoblock doing around 1000 rms. Hifoniks makes something like that that'll be inexpensive.

Their higher end models - the xx line - are definitely top notch. Check out MA audio as well, they do some nice monoblocks and aren't too bad; I'm running 3 of their amps and love em.

Im getting ready to switch to Hi fonics for my new sub...From what I have seen they are @!#$ amazing...

I would sell you my Alpine M1005(which I powered 2 alpine type R's with) but its only stable to 2 ohms...and you cant get two ohms with those subs...well not with two anyways..

Def try to find a 1ohm Stable amp at 1000-2000w...1000w will power two Type R's Just fine..actually really good. But they can take more...alot more...

Soundstream PCA1000D or PCA1500D ?
Send Wysiwyg a PM, he could give you a price, he's a great guy to deal with. I bought a 2000D from him.

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.

thats my most recent purchase. im using it to power 1 12" L5 and i love it. and for the price!! i would run 2 if i had another solo baric. well actually i do but ones silver and ones black and i dont want to mismatch.

you could buy one for each sub and still be in a decent pricerange.
