Question about speaker sensitivity.

Ok, I'm looking at getting some new woofer sometime this summer to replace my 3004SPLS. Only option I am looking at is Fi's Q series. Just the 12" because my talon has limited space and I don't want to have to wall it or nothing special like that. My question is, the Q's have a lower sensitivity. 85.4 as compared to the 3004's 89. Now my understanding is that with every 3db's of sensitivity gained, you only need 1/2 the power to reproduce the same decibel level. Now, does sensitivity only pertain to pressure, or does it pertain to listening loudness as well, or is that a question that can only be answered through personal experiance. Because someone made a good point on one of the forums I was reading on about how pressure and ear loudness are different. They said they screamed at a mic and didn't get a reading, then they blew on it and got a 17x.x Does that make sence to anyone else?...Maybe I'm just tired lol.

Another thing I want to ask about is how much of a roll does xmax play in determining volume, mainly low end volume. I'm trying to decide with a pair of Q's tuned would be louder, lower, and sound better than the 3004's, and just any input on the subject would be appreciated.
