Yeah, so I may sound dumb, but what's the best way to shave down sheet metal (rear deck) for installing my new Infinity's? I have a 2nd gen ('93 Sunbird) and they won't fit underneath, but I want them mounted on top anyways. The hole is only like 4x6 or 5x7 or something, but Not even the magnet will fit throught the hole, let alone making the grille able to be flush. Anyone with experience in this?
tin snips, dremel, sawsall
i used dremel and pliers and i mounted them from the top(which was dumb of me because i couldnt fit a drill between the rear deck and rear window) i payed circuit city 25 to just mount the rear speakers nothing else.
did u think of drilling from the inside of the trunk up in to the deck gives u alot more room.
