hooking up to dash lighting?

I have my oil pressure gauge and my air/fuel gauge when it says to wire the red wire up to a dash lighting what color wire am I looking for and where are they at? and can I hook both red wires for both gauges into the same wire to power the gauge or do they have to be seprate ?

Orange wire in the stereo harness will work... its 12V+ variable.

i need something that will only light the gauges up when you turn your lights on, and something other then the radio because its a pain taking it in and out with all the wires.

Ok... I don't remember which color wire it is, but you can use one on the dimmer switch.

correct me if im wrong but it should be the small brown wire coming out of the dimmer swtich that will allow it to "dim" (i recomend checking with Multimeter)

also if you just want lights with no dimming tap into the clusterlight fuse thats what i did and it dont dim but it does light up only when the parking lights are on or headlights obvisouly

i found a wire off the cluster that did that...and used a relay for safety. works great....and since its right by my a-pillar, not much wire to run.
