I researched quiet a bit but still have questions. I bought a Alpine Type R and mrd 605 amp for it. now im looking for mounting options. Im trying to make a ported box and dont wanna give up much space in my trunk and keep weight down. I had a few ideas to either mount it in the corner and amp in the other or my other idea was to mount it in the spare tire well but my sub is to tall so that would probably call for a false floor. Im looking to go with about 1.5 cubic foot box. any ideas would be great as to many of the pics I tried to look up were red X's. plz dont yell I did search very well

I would build it into either side of the trunk closer to the bumper and make it look factory only loosing just a little bit of one side, and mounting the amp in the spare tire wheel.. Just my .02 cents.
