Well I had a Phoenix Gold R15.0 running one Alpine Type R at 4 ohms and after say approx. 4 hours it went boom...lol... I the power source seemed to have shorted out and fried it. Thankfully its covered under warrenty but, im now concerned about the reliablilty. But i guess ill see how it runs when it comes back. Figured I give everyone a heads up whos shopping for an amp...

No offense to PG consumers.. But you could have purchased a Ultimate, or Planet Audio amp for next to half the equivelent cost, and gotten a 2 year over the counter exchange warrenty with it. Having to send it in for repair is a pain in the ass. BUT PG still makes some decent equipement, so really you can't be completely in the wrong with them.

4 ohms not stable on a car audio amp?? .. ok...seriously, ive never seen that lol 4 ohms seems to be the most common impedance of a speaker/voice coil ive seen...

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
