I know everyone has done the components in the doors, and that would be my easiest option. But i have 4 6x8's from my old car, there infinity kappa 2 ways. Anyone know if i can make these fit, i've had thoughts of a reverse adapter that cut out for magnet in the center recesed screws for the factory locations then having it out wide enough to be able to screw the speakers in, if i use pretty thin board i shouldn't have to much clearance problem with the panel. What do you guys think, attempt it or try to sell the speakers and get new which i really don't wanna do...Any help appreciated.

Also,I'm not sure my car has 6x9's in the rear. it's a 2000 sunfire convertible, and they aren't located in the deck there behind the panels down beside the rear seat. Everywhere i've went says there 4x6's too, anyone know for sure, would rather know before i started so i only have to take the panels off once.
