basically all it is is a gigantic subwoofer. it's not really loud, someone calculated that you could get louder music with 2 12" subs as well. The thing is so massive that most of that power is to simply get the enormous cone moving. it is pretty cool though.
Now... that thing peaks out at 12,000 watts I think it said (or maybe that was RMS)? MA Audio makes a 15" sub that peaks at 10,000 watts, Audiobahn makes 12" that peak out at 8000 watts, etc. that thing can't be very efficient, but I've never seen the in-depth stats for it so I wouldnt know

Even MTX themselves made something bigger!

Seriously look through the Photos on ROE and you'll see some big subs. I remeber another company that had 24's, 28''s and even 32 in speakers.

There are just sooooo many things wrong with that videos I am not even going to waste my time.

"130 DB that's louder than an airplane"

Um if I had that monstrosity sticking out of where my backseat used to be and I had that much power going to it, I had better get more than 130 out of it.

130db is nothing for that much of a sub.

my boy used to have 4 sounstream SPL 12's with 6.5" OZ's in the doors, run off 2 Soundstream 700's and a Soundstream 500 for the doors, and he used to hit 154.x db

granted this was a long time ago, and in an old Bronco II, but id expect alot more than 130db out of that thing

130db isnt much. Team gates holds the world record withe 192db and its if a freakin bronco thats jacked up high enough for my cavy to almost drive under it. i help set up for sound shows and stuff and ive seen some pertty amazing things put where they dont belong but the world record hitting speakers in Team Gates bronco are JBL 13 and a halfs. Odd size of a sub but it if gets the job done then why not. I had 2 SL7's in the back of a daily drivin cavy and hit 135db at a meca show. so 130 on somehting that huge is a load. if it was put in the proper air space and an ported box and if you could play music that hit a low enough bass level that thing should have hit more around 172 or higher. thats just my 2 cents put in.

not to sound like a dick or anything but i find 192db highly impossible unless the truck was one humungous hollowed out cement slab with no cracks, leaks, and had no flexing at all. But then it wouldnt be able to compete since i believe one of the rules are that the vehicle must be able to support life.

You guys dont get it, They only brought it up to 130 db, it goes much higher then that. But with so many unprotected people, why would you.

Re: holy fn shat
