A friend of mine needs your advice. i'm quoting him:

if you want bass with music, and not for any kind of competitions with friends or anything, pretty much a basic sub, basic amp, basic box and basic deck will work fine. They did for me, $99.00 CAD for a Jensen deck at walmart, Sealed box was free for two 10" Jensen subs running on 160w rms (costs about $100CAD), and of course you're gonna need all the install stuff. It all worked for me, still does except the deck, but even that still works, I think it might just be shorted out.
