magnet too big on my new 6X9 speakers

hey i cant fit the speakers in the holes the magnet hits the tension wires in the trunk.. and we tried making rings that will make it higher but then the rear cover is too short.. anyone has good ideas how they did it?

You can tie back the torsion bars to fit your magnets in there.

Well if you want to do some metal work, you can move them foward in the deck, but your gonna need some welding skills.

Thats damn near how mine are sitting too. but i was originally going ot install 6x9 boxes on the bottom side and those tension bars really got in the way of those.

get rid of that carpet on the back deck and glass it all, if you seal it all from the trunk, it'll not only look sick but sound 100% better. alot of work though...

My Kapas were pretty deep. A little bit of cutting (the baskets were a bit to big for the holes) and some mdf, or poly rigs to raise it up a bit. No problems.
