Bulding A Subwoofer BOX!!

i have two kicker comprvs (12inch) and a 600.1 mono amp.... and i was wondering what is the best wood to use and best designs to use when i bulid my box. thanks i hope someone can help!!

MDF for wood, and as for all important other specs, i dont know what your subs require.

like he said, best to use will be MDF. I would use the 3/4" MDF over the 1/2" MDF, 1/2" MDF normally used for customizing a trunk, but with a simple speaker box use 3/4". You're local building supply store will have it, I would NOT buy a pre-made box from any audio store, you'll pay 3 times as much as a sheet of MDF costs. And as far as what size to make, i'm sure someone on here knows the equation for the right size.
