I've done a search.. came up with class 1 vs. class 2 or something but nothing more.
Just wondering, if I have a 2000 or 2001 stock cd player from a sunfire, can it be directly swapped into a 99 sunfire to replace the stock tape deck? Are the harnesses the same.. and if it can't be done directly, is there a way to do it.

There is no way to do it, other than swapping the ENTIRE electrical system (from bumper to bumper) from a 2000+ car.
and the entire dash also. just go spend 100 dollars on a cheap pioneer
