i just installed a CD player, that supposedly displays the song name and stuff like that when you put a cd in. How do i make a CD where it shows the name? cause when i keep trying, it doesnt have a name
What Head unit?
Mostlikely like mine, you have to manually program it in. Read the instruction manuel.
My cd player has that feature too. From what I've noticed the cd has to have the feature that allows the song names and cd name displayed. I use roxio easy cd creator to make mix cd's and there is an optin to add cd text so all of my mix cd's displays the names. But from what I know, the cd itself has to have the cd text feature.
use Nero to burn ur cds if u have it on ur comp. It automatically puts the song names on the disc. i think its called ID3 tags or something like that.
Nero Link (if ya dont have it)

It does not automatically write cd text. You have to enable cd text in your cd burning program. Please don't tell me that you are using windows to burn your cd's. use either roxio or nero.
you have to have the ID3 tags
they are what the headunit usages
my cd player reads the id3 tags and cd text. that way if you have a CD that just a regular music cd with no mp3's, you can still have the song names.
yea..mine reads the filename of the track....so you just name the song while it's on your computer before you burn it.
tha'ts for regular cd's...not mp3 cd's

It's up to you to decide which you'd rather win.
