For you guys running 2 amps for subs.....
Thursday, November 17, 2005 8:04 AM
ok here my setup, I have 2-kicker comp vr's and 2-alpine mrp-m350 amps. Everything powers up, but here's my prob. When I used "Y-connectors" to split my signal from the rca's, I could hardly hear any bass. What could the prob be? Also I get noise also, every time I switch tracks on my headunit I hear little blips and dribbles. Help me out guys/

If you have 2 volt pre-outs on your head unit, you're turning those in 1/2. As for blips, check grounds.

I'd get a line driver for starters. It'll up your line voltage considerably. Something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/PLANET-AUDIO-2-CHANNEL-LINE-DRIVER-2CH-NEW-NOT-JL-AUDIO_W0QQitemZ5829119837QQcategoryZ14932QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
