My girlfriend has a 99 Cavalier, want to put in an 04 stock Cavalier radio with a CD player. Was looking through the "2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 radio info!" thread and noticed something about the 99 radio being different. What am I getting into with this swap?
How difficult is it to get the radio out?

wont work it need a class 2 system to do so plau all the work to get the double din to fit in a din 1/2 hole is just not worth it
00-05 radios won't work in pre-2000 cars, period.
There is no BCM to tell it to turn on (it's always powered up). Pre-2000 cars don't speak Class 2.
