hey, i have a cavfire w/ no power locks/ windows
just got a cavy interior, has power locks/windows
i have all the switches, but besides those what do i need to put OEM power in my cavfire?
i got a sig warning

boosted cavfire

i have done this 2 times...
things you need :
1. 2 power window motors and assemblies.
2. 2 power lock latches
3. the entire rear end wiring harness this harness unplugs with 2 plugs under the dash on the driver side (just follow the big thing of wiring along the door under the plastic cover to the plugs) this harness goes into the driver and passenger door along with to the radio and tail lights and att/ rear defrost and spkrs. oh and the fuel pump
basically you rip ur ENTIRE interior out minus the dash...... pull out the wiring and switch it with the wiring from the car that had the power windows/locks
then u inmight need to add in 2 fuses into your fuse panel for them to operate check the manual for the location and size or the back of the panel cover.....TEST EVERYTHING b4 putting ur entire interior back .. MAKE SURE THE CAR STARTS AND RUNS FINE, radio and all lights work! its hard to track something down should something fail with the int. in.....
note **** the car will not start by just conecting the fuel pump wires and the harness... there are like 3 ground wires that need to be connected b4 the car will start again....
its best to connect all wire, grounds switches ect and make sure everything is ok, but dont put ur windows in until everything is functional again!!!!
this job takes from 6-8HOURS!!!! OR MORE!!!!!!
to put the locks in u simply switch the latches, to put the windows in u must drill out the rivets in the stock ones and use small bolts to put the power window motors in...
I suggest buying 8 of a few different small bolts and returning the ones that u dont use b/c its a pain when u get the windows out to find out ur bolts are too short or not short enough!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!
feel free to contact me if u need help...
