I have a panasonic head unit (model number is CQ-7301U). and a sony disc changer(i can't remember the model #) and what i wanted to know is there an adapter or something that i can use to connect the two?
thanks in advance.
If the changer is FM modulated it'll just plug in line with your antenna wire going into the deck.

i think he's talking about direct plug.....
and i don't belive so..........
i know this for a fact, that i cannot use a sony XM reciever on a pannasonic HU...
i searched this, otherwise i would do that, and plug or the pannasonic cd chnager into the input of the XM reciever, and have both, CD changer and XM, off of one HU.
It sux, cuz pannasonic and sony have different plugs, and also pannasonic doesn't make an XM tunner........

The Sony changer we carry at Circuit City goes through an FM modulator. All you would do is plug your FM antenna cable into the adapter that comes with the changer and then plug the other end into the antenna jack on the radio. The cds play through your radio, and you use a wired controller that comes with the changer to choose the disk, track, etc.
And Buzz, Panasonic does have an XM tuner. I have one in my Blazer right now. There is a universal tuner box we also have at Circuit City, and a Panasonic direct connect that attaches to the tuner and the deck. As long as your deck is XM ready, you're good to go. Let me know if you need anymore info.

1)does the XM go through the TERK adapter?
2)by any chance does it have the two square plug holes for the direct connect wire?
If above answers are 1) no ; 2) yes
then i should be able hook up my HU, plug the XM in the back of the HU, and plug a CD changer in the input side of the XM unit, and control it ALL just trhough my XM....
the HU will then definatly be the pannasonic CQ-C9901C
Can you get me the part number on the XM tuner?

Sorry, I didn't read your previous post right before, it is the terk adaptor and doesn't have a passthrough, that was something I was disappointed with when I hooked mine up too.

ughhhhhhh on the TERKS...... i think they blow... and way NO to the FM modulators, i'd be better putting in an 8 track, and have it sound better!!!
