Look around you can find something about a hundread times better than that. Check your local shops for end of model sales. I picked up my pioneer deck for 80bucks marked 70 percent off. Try on ebay. look for alpine, eclipse, pioneer, even aiwa. Go with a quality brand and it will last you alot longer.
If I could find a good name brand mp3/cd deck for $80 I would buy it yesterday but I can't find one for under $250 which is more than I can afford since I gotta get speakers too. I would prefer to buy in a local store than online. That's why I was looking at the Autosound one.
Well if you want to waste your money man all the power too ya. All i'll say is you get what you pay for, and if you are fine buying walmart garbage and crap and calling it a system go right ahead.
the deck is sometimes under-estimated... IMO the deck is a very important component of a system. i used to think they were all the same since they all play cd's..... ended up forking out the cash for a high end HU and i realized "MAN I WAS SO WRONG". my deck is no Denon or Nakamichi, but the difference some decks can make in a system blew my mind.. with all the separate crossovers, fine-tuning, etc.
either way, IMO i personally wouldn't cheap out on the deck anymore.. buying a deck from a reputable company with a good warranty and some good features will leave you some room for later in case you want to upgrade something in your system at least your deck is good to go and ready for anything you want to hook up to it.
either way, IMO i personally wouldn't cheap out on the deck anymore..
