System Set up

OK guys, I started a new job yesterday and received part signing bonus on the spot. So naturally this $$$ is going into my car, so I'm using it to start my system.

Basically I just want to make sure what I have in mind will work without any problems (aside from some rattles).

Here's what I have in mind:

HEADUNIT
Alpine CDA-9855 (On Order)
iPod Adapter (On Order)

SPEAKERS
Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 (have)
-Power Handling, RMS: 100 Watts
-Power Handling, Peak: 400 Watts
-Frequency Response (±3dB): 75Hz - 23kHz
-Sensitivity: 90dB
-Impedance: 4 Ohms
-Crossover Frequency(ies): 3.5kHz, 24dB/oct

2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.1d Subs
-Power Handling, Peak: 1400W
-Power Handling, RMS: 350W
-Sensitivity: 94dB (In Car)
-Frequency Response (± 1.5dB): 18Hz - 150 Hz
-Frequency Response (±3dB): 18Hz - 150Hz
-Impedance: 2 or 8 Ohms

AMPS
Infinity 7541a 4-Channel Amp (for the 6.1 Componets) (waiting to order)
-RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 111W x 4 @ 14.4V
-THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: <1 %
-Bridged RMS Power @ 4 Ohms: 278W x 2 @ 14.4V
-Speaker Level Inputs: Yes
-Preamp Outputs: Yes
-Built-In Crossovers: HP/LP
-Bass Boost: 0 - 12 dB
-Frequency Response: 10-100,000 Hz
-Signal to Noise Ratio: 81 dB

Infinity 1210a Mono Subwoofer Amp (waiting to order)
-RMS Power: 854W x 1 @ 4 ohms
-THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: <1 %
-RMS Power: 1300W x 1 @ 2 ohms
-Speaker Level Inputs: No
-Preamp Outputs: Yes
-Built-In Crossovers: LP
-Bass Boost: 0 - 12 dB
-Frequency Response: 17-302 Hz
-Signal to Noise Ratio: 72 dB

Now, I figgure I'll need to upgrade the Big 3 at the very lest. Will I also have to upgrade the Alt, and if so, where can I get one for an Ecotec? I don't want to use a cap because I think those really are only a band-aid. Is the stock battery going to be good enough, or should I get a Red or Yellow top? Also, suggestions on what size amp wires I should use? Is 4 gauge good enough, or should I be looking at 1/0 wires?

That's about it I think... BTW, this will be going into a 05 Sunfire without the monsson system.

4 gauge should be fine, unless you plan on going bigger than that eventually? do the big 3 and use a yellow top.
