just as it says i have an 04 sunfire and the other day while just driving down the road, both rear speakers just quit working simultaniously. anyone know what may have caused this or know how to fix it? also i never play the radio loud so im sure they arent blown.
thanks in advance

Something may have come loose in the wiring harness but that is unlikely unless you hit something really hard. Check the connection in the truck 1st.

Yeah the stock speakers are really crap. My 03 Sunfire rear right speaker blew out within only a two month period after I got it. Can always buy some cheap aftermarket speakers that are at least better than what the car came with if you're looking for a quick fix. Only pain in the ass part is figuring out how to get the damn rear deck off. I've asked on here a few times and got different answers, but when I look underneith the from inside the trunk I don't see anything that holds it in place for sure. I don't wanna start snapping off things without knowing for sure what they're holding down, lol.
^^ it should just pull out..no screws.

if its an 04 it should be under waranty so just take it in and let them fix it.
I talked to him in chat, no warrenty
Still no word on if he tested the speakers or not i guess

they are definitely blown just pulled them out now. for the one who is concerned about pulling them out all it is, is to plastic clip things behind the rear seat back and then pull the rear deck off just becareful it is only like cardboard so dont flex it to much
