Were did you guys connect the pull cable to the door rod and how have you got it connected?
Mine are connected just before the bend in the rod closest to the lever that causes the latch to open. They are connected by two U-bolts to the rod.
My problem is they worked great for a little while, now I think my rods have losened up or something because I get action from the Solenoid but they aren't pulling far enough to actually unlatch the door. My guess is that the rod has too much give and now, no matter how tight the wire is connected to the rod, its actually pulling the rod down and toward the Solenoid instead of straight back toward the Solenoid..... hope that makes sense
Anyway...I just want to see if any of you have any solutions that might help
Thanks
~Kilo

I had a similar problem when i first put mine on with my passenger side. turns out I didn't... stretch the solenoid(lol for lack of a better word). All I did was cut the cable and put a new one. It was a PITA but I got through it. Don't know if that helps you any but It all I could do for you man.

work in progress
