Blown channel on stock h/u????????
Saturday, May 28, 2005 10:52 AM
On my wifes 98 GT the drivers side door speaker stopped working,no sound ,no buzzing no nothing, yet the tweeter works. I,m guessing the head unit is a six channel h/u, 2 back 2 front woofer 2 tweeter channels and that the drivers side woofer channel went kaput.
If anyone could verify and advise i would appreciate it.

nah, in a nutshell, you're wrong...

but I'll help you understand.

All radios are 4 channel radios. (that I have ever seen) It works as 2 front speakers, and 2 tweeters both coming off the front channel, and the tweeter with an inline bass blocker, so your front speaker is dead Go buy 2 new 4x6's, and call it a day
