Oh it'll hit hard all right, but won't be nearly accurate at all. Most of the bass frequencies will sound the same and will be overpowering at a given frequency to the point of being extremely annoying. Bandpass boxes are difficult to work with and I stay away from them at all cost. But yes, you'll probably be able to tick some neighbours off if that's what you're going for

Yes, it will be louder but keep in mind that it's extrememly hard to get it to sound good at all bass frequencies... did you hear this setup in your buddies car b4 he took it out to sell it? Why is he selling it? These should be questions you ask yourself. But to answer your question better?, no in my opinion cause I can't stand bandbass boxes, louder?, definitely. How much does he want for this, cause the prices listed on the site you have are much higher than you can get this for on e-bay.

*edit* Except the subs, subs are cheap there, but that amp you can definitely get for cheaper

Like I said, the box will sound like crap, it will be loud just because of the power level. I would rather listen to a clean 100 watts then a crappy 1000 watt setup.

what do you mean by sounding like crap?? will it be clear bass or what? im not looking for something like to have the best system in the area just something with a bunch of bass...

02ECOZ-mainly he is selling because he had it in his eclipse..and it got totalled..but he got hit in the front so the system didnt get damage..and i guess he just didnt want to put it in his other car...and im buying it for 375..

another question also..right now i have a mono amp runnin my 2 12"s...its an 8 gauge and i know for a fact i need a 4 guage for this new system..but its a 2 channel amp so what all will i need exactly..when the guy buys mine im giving him my wires cause i have no use for them..so where is the best place to get a 4 gauge wiring kit...for cheap!...circuit city wants 75 bucks!..anything else out there cheaper???

thanks

Ebay, you can get your hands on one for around $15-20 bucks... and I agree with Firefighter but then maybe that's not what you're looking for. It will sound like crap, as in not acurate at all, ut if you just want to vibrate the hell out of everything and piss some neighbours off then you're heading in the right direction. Bandpass boxes don't need a lot of power to play loud, but it will not sound smooth and proper (i.e. crappy) for the price you really can't go wrong.

On to your other question... YOu will need speaker wire for the sub box obviously (not sure what impedance the subs are set for 2ohm? 4ohm? Shouldn't much matter really considering your amp appears to be 1ohm stable. So I would bridge the subs to the amp, run 4 guage power and 4 guage ground, and the other regular wiring. You must be familiar if you had a system before. (remote turn on, RCA's, make sure power wire is fused, etc etc etc...)

Here's a link to an e-bay install kit http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=71528&item=5776325625&rd=1

Everything except the RCA (signal) wires from the sub out of your deck to the amp, you can find those locally for a decent price I'm sure
