The dealership here used the cop out "well you have a k&n filter". They did not touch the engine. They still don't know what the problem was. But apparently my problem was "minor" and they used their special technology to know that my problem was not under warranty.
I however have a friend who works for the auto industry developing bearing materials, and is a metallurgist. So he is going to assess the damage to my pistons. Should help with my breach of warranty suit I intend on pursuing
you would have to take outyour setup. Then you probably cut the fuel line to get the fuel to the system so that will be visible. unless you had a different intake, you'll have a hole somewhere in it so another suspicious thing. Then the piston CAN'T crack when the engine is stock. the rods CAN'T brake on the stock engine unless you @!#$ something up.
You really think the delaership are stupid? look like you don't know engine for sh*t and think your invinsible. Bring me an engine and I'll ell you what happend and why it happend. it's so easy to tell. So before saying " the dealership will change it under warranty" you better have good argument cause you'll get owned.

i/h/e wont cuase engine problems, nitrous on the other hand.....WILL effect it, and besides how are you going to explain to them how you melted the insides of your motor?

Id also liek to know what pill sizes you ran andwhat the fuel pressure was at.
A stock eco, could take a 125 shot if as long as you dont go lean, but if you have enouh fuel it will hold up for awhile. Hell when GM set out to find what the eco could take they were up to something like a 300 shot direct port till they finnally blew the stock engine up.
