I was wondering what lexus tails would look like on a cavalier... upside down maybe? I saw them today and they looked pretty cool, but what about on a cavalier? Thanks in advance. Oh and if they look good does anyone know if I can buy the light bucket? with them? My body guy is complaining that he already put the stock cavalier light buckets??? in... but he never asked me what i wanted he just did it... Now that I tell him I don't want the stock tails he is being all pi*sy about it... What do you guys think? I also wanted flares to go with the wide body but he already has half the car primed and is moaning about that, Last I knew he was still working on the trunk lid! Am I in the wrong for not directly telling him from day one? I mean it's obviously miscommunication but... We were always talkin about how we didn't like the stock lights, then he goes and puts the brackets for them in... I just don't get it. I guess that I figured he understood that I wasn't positive about what I wanted done and that he wouldn't move until I told him either way.
Thanks in Advance!
Shane
you do know there is more than one type of lexus right?
yeah... but they are all cool in their own ways, this way the renderer can kind of have their choice
How about you suggest a model so that the artist who decides to do this doesnt have to surf the web for a day and pic a set they like, that you might not prefer...
I'm not exactly sure which one would look the best... I'm actually having a really hard time with this whole cav build, i'm just not good at making decisions about my car! oh well.
Thanks,
Shane
it must be me but when i first read this thread, i thought you wanted to do a lexus tail light conversion like Bob Mull has his IS300 conversion. Afrer looking at your pics, there is not 1 lexus there. The name of the website is : lexustaillights.com! wtf
You Need To Let People Know This Kinda Thing.
Note to Self when posting..... You need to post a picture of your car!
Also - maybe im crazy, but good luck putting 350Z taillights on a cav.
fpz24 (Akira) wrote:^ yeah, i think he means altezza too.
i guess so...... I never was a big fan of them so i totally forgot about 'altezzas' ........... My Bad
I prefer toyota tails or a tail light conversion inside of 'altezzas'
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ My opinion.......i don't think they made any good ones for cavs.
Anyways back to the topic - You need to post a picture of your car and a style
currently my car is in pieces... that is why i didn't post a pic of it, and no i wasn't looking for the altezzas... i was looking for a completely different set of tail lights. I have seen a few people mold diff. tails in but I haven't seen very many of them. Very few people seem to be doing this.

so you want to do a tail light conversion then?????
yes, very much so! I'm just not sure what kind of tail light would look good on a cavi... i mean, i have soooo many to choose from and i do mean SOOO many... any taillight out there basically haha
^^^^^^^^^^^^^ well from the pictures you gave above................. good luck doing a 350Z conversion.............
haha, that was just an idea... i don't know what I will actually be going with... most likely not that one

Guess it's time to buy some escalade tails and fit them lol. I'm sure you'd be the first if you pulled it off.
