Hey on my 04 cav the temp control knob (the one that goes from hot to cold) for heat and air.....the wire behind knob is bending instead of doing what its supposed to. The wire feeds into a plastic shaft that goes to ?? that tells it to get hot well its bending so it never goes to the hot setting. Where does that wire come out at on the other end to see if I can pull it from the other end?

It goes to the air mix/blend door. Time for a new cable and some foam removal/relocation on the mix/blend door.

where is the air mix blend door @ to replace the wire?

Behind the dash. Not exactly a quick easy fix if the foam is the reason for the cable kinking.
