well its safe to say it works Start the car and let it die, then leave the key in the "run" position for 10 minutes. Turn the car off and start it i did this to try to put my 5 speed ecu in to find that it was a ecu for abs and i wanted a 5 speed non abs ecu

what do you mean let the car die? do you mean turn the switch back and then turn it back over or do you mean drop the clutch and let the car die?

im having problems with my ecotec swap ecu's not working also. i still have my ecu from my 2.2 ohv motor in the ecotec. i put the ecotec bcm in under the dash and all and my ecotec ecu still wont work. the car wants to start but it acts like its not getting fuel.

help me out

thanks

start the car or try to start the car let it run if it starts it should run for 30 sec if not crank it a few sec then just leave it alone with the key on

leave it with the key on for 10-15 mins then turn it off and start it up should not thow the theft lock no more and should relearn its self it worked on my eco 5 speed ecm but the ecm has abs

now if i can find a ecm thats for ecotec that is a 5-speed with out abs ill be set lol
