Couldn't find it on here about how to replace or test the TCC solenoid. Does anyone have a diagram of it or the wiring harness?

Also, when you check the trans fluid level how are you suppose to tell when it's full? Do you just fill it up all the way?

Im thinking that you have to pull the trans and split the case to acess it. not the whole case , just the drivers side cover which appears to be half of the case. thats how you access the back side of the electrical plug, you know the one in the front of the trans. I could take a pic of it but Im not at work. I have my old one there that I pulled out for my swap.

just to be sure we are talking about the same trans, this is a 4t40e 4 speed auto electric shift.

Yes I believe it's the 4T40, whatever 4spd auto that comes in a 96' Cavalier 2.2.
