An oil cooler? The stuff I have printed off from school says that motor is supposed to have one. I dont and was looking into getting one.

i have seen a couple with and a couple without... im not sure if it was an option or not but i have seen em with and without...

Id like to get one. Do you think just your normal parts store has the cooler?

It could be possible the minivans came w/ 'em. I'm not finding a GM part # for it for a Grand Am however.

Only one I can find though is the Hayden #242, fits all 60*V6's for the sammich, or 291 for the remote mount (which you can then pipe through a cooler)

I'm with Kardain on this one. First thing I thought of was "minivan". Which would make sense because it probably has a higher GVWR and towing capacity, so the engine might need it just in case. Minivans are probably more likely to have a tranny cooler than a Grand Am too.

Wouldn't be a bad idea though since the 3400 in our cars is most likely being used in a performance application.

Anything to protect our engines for the beatings they're going to take is a good thing.
