Hello everyone, farm fresh newbie here. Just re-acquired my 2003 Pontiac Sunfire, auto about 63000 miles. Great car, I like it, I gave her up for about five years to my father-in-law just got her back. My question is do they make a chiltons manual for this car yet. My searches on amazon and the like have came up short. I found a haynes, but prefer chiltons, any help please let me know. Thanks in advance folks.
95 to 00
Thats the only one i saw, but most of the parts on 3rd gens are the same i believe.
except having the ecotec in 02 -05 which he has so it wouldn't help on repairing the engine

yeah thats a huge difference for an 02/03+
now that you mention it, no, i havent seen either a haynes or chiltons for eco Js, and i was just at autozone yesterday. maybe its not worth their while to make one since it was only for a few years? good luck finding what you need man
95+ Cavalier and Sunfire Convertible Service Manual! A must read for vert owners!
another thing i was thinking was they not gonna make one for the reason being that the changed the ecotec motor almost every year from 02 to 05. could you imagine how thick that would be like carring around the original webster dictionary. lol
My chilton's i got for my 96' covers my 03' and has the ECO in it. Granted its not the most helpful but it gives me the general idea of what i need to do.
You have to get your hands on the gm service dvd
you gonna make that downloadable to
Well I did find a haynes. In my experience Chilton's are better for overall maintenance, how-tos, etc. But haynes has chiltons on the in-depth wiring diagrams...might just pick up the haynes since its all I got, how does one obtain a shop manual and how much? Any chance one could score someones archival back-up that needs a copy stored off-site? (lol) Thanks for all the feedback gentlemen and or ladies, even though not helpful in finding a chiltons, still much, much appreciated!
