Ok well first off i have a four door 2003 Chevy cavalier with the 2.2 ecotec and a few problems, heres a list if any1 could give some input that be great
the rpms dip down really low when you first turn on the a/c more than they should
gas mileage went down a good bit (maybe the summer heat)
rpms also move but only enough to here through my exhaust with the blinkers on or anything electrical such as head lights
idle is semi rough sometimes. Well thats all i can think about right now but other than that a have no dying problems.

As far as mileage goes, have you ever done a tune up. Plugs/air filter and fuel filter. Thsoe are about the only tune up items. Make sure your tire pressure is correct to.
As far as the idle goes, I dont know if these cars have a idle speed control motor, or a idle air control valve.
Anyways sometimes the bypass tube where the air goes through at idle, can get plugged up, with cardon and such.
Any CEL codes?

If the idle dips or gets rough under electrical strain, have the alternator tested. It might be struggling, and making your motor struggle, to put out enough power.
