i want to know what the fastest time people are getting out of the jbody i got 14.2 with nos in mt gt sunfire but we blew it up after that
rwd sunfire
The fastest time ever in a JBody is 7.594 seconds at 189.12MPH, it is in the Pro FWD class set by Nelson Hoyos in his 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. I drive an 97 Cavalier 2.2L auto and I run mid 16's.

actually your wrong , lingenfelter ran 6.98
and the pro-stock cavs run in the mid to high 6's
Actually get out Issue 69 of Import Tuner and turn to page 28. "Nelson Hoyos of Hollywood, Fla., set a new Pro FWD class record with a 7.594 sec. at 189.12 mph during Round Three qualifying in his '04 Chevy Cavalier." I will say that stating that it is the fastest time EVER in a JBody is wrong; however, that is what the article says and I'm pretty sure Import Tuner didn't get ahead in the game by lying.

Shifted is correct. Hoyos runs a front wheel drive drag car powered by an ecotec. the others are rear wheel drive tube frame monsters...most likely running big block chevy v8's.

Lingenfelter's car wasn't a v8. it was a Ecotec. It was a Pro-Stock cavalier that was RWD and was a bad mama jamma.
