Hey i have the art air kit, and when i turn the wheel and let go it kind of sticks. Do i just need to replace the thrust bearing set?
My car is also terribly out of alignment because i just removed/re-installed my struts. Could this be creating this effect?
Could be either. Probably the bearing.
I replaced both bearings sets, same thing. Its terribly out of alignment. I think that is it, anyone disagree?
When you say terribly, how much is that. There should only be 10* or so of play in it. If you did bearings already I would say the next logical step is to have it aligned.
Yes, i agree. Visibly both not straight i'm not really sure how bad. I'm just wanting to make sure there is nothing i'm forgetting... lol i dont wanna get an alignment and then find out something is still bad lol.
you need to get an alignment regardless, so get that done. I know I wouldnt trust driving a car with an alignment out of whack, but hey, I dont like getting in accidents.....maybe you do?
Well, i definitely am not going to drive it very much at all until i get an alignment. However, if i get the alignment and figure out there's something wrong, i just wasted at least 60 dollars. So i think i'll figure it out first
If you say you already need an alignment....then how is it a waste of money??
I always vote to get rid of the problems you know exist, then figure out the ones that you dont know are, process of elimination
Yeah dude no doubt i'm gonna get an alignment it's number one priority. I was just making sure this wasn't a common problem or somethin ya know? No question i'm getting an alignment
always have your car aligned after doing suspension work no ifs ands or buts
"My name is Bruce, I live in a tree, I eat nuts and berries, hee hee hee hee."
lol, i wasn't ever saying anything but exactly this from day one
