Does anyone know what the spring rates are for the off the shelf Ground Control Kits for the J-body?

Why not just call them? I ordered my front setup with 525# springs, I think the normal rate is around 375#.
My first reaction was 380#, so it might be 375#. Somewhere right in there. They'll make you whatever you want, call them.
VK,
I will have to check my notes. I used to know what the spring rates were. Off the top of my head is 375 front and 250 rear. I currently have a progressive 150-450 up front and 300 in the rear on my Mantapart setup, though I am thinking about going with a straight 400 lb spring up front

That's correct. 375 Front, 250 Rear, and all an inch too short for my liking.
Anyone know the rates for the H&R springs used in RK's Coil-overs?

OK thanks. Any idea if I can get any rate I want on them from RK? Those are too low for a track setup.
RK only sells those. They get them from H&R..
GC is the only company I know that will custom make any order at no extra charge.

Again thanks for the info. So where can I order a G/C kit with my choice of spring rates?
From GC:

There's a box where you can type in what spring rates you want.
Hey bro!
Note that any GC dealer should be able to order them for you with whatever specs you ask for.
If you get in touch with GC directly though, they can provide a lot of valuable insight to figure out exactly what it is you need.
VK,
Since you already have the GC hardware, you can just order the Eibach springs from GC. Last time I talked to them they wanted $60 a piece for springs.
BTW, I am sending you pics of a new toy I got

??? I don't have any G/C hardware. I have Koni Reds with Intrax springs. I'm looking to go to Koni Yellows and G/Cs before my next track event in February.

Do you know the free length dimension for the rear? I need a higher rate in back for track.

6" front and 8" rear i would use like a 300lb in the front and 270-300in the rear if i were you. with 375 up front because on surfaces that dont have a lot of grip. the front is too stiff and over all fromt end grip is not as good as it could be. the only good thing about the 375 is that the car changes direction very well and makes turn in nice so you can get the car pointed to get ready for under steer.
see ya!
so regular Ground Controls springs usually are 6" front and 8" rear / 375 lbs front 250 lbs. rear / 2.5 diameter???
once i have this confirmed, i will start on my custom coilover / d spec project soon
