About -.5 to -2.5 inches from stock. Why replace your koni/gc setup?

To whom it may concern,
Thank you for your interest in TEIN High Performance Suspension Products. We are sorry for the untimely reply, we are experiencing heavy email volume and are doing our best to reply upon reception. The SS-P coilovers are now available for the Cavalier.

That is the e-mail I recieved from them today.
Sorry, didn't realize that $350 was worth it to make adjustments from the inside of the vehicle.
I have another email into them about the EDFC. The site says that the EDFC is not available for the cavalier, but at the same time it says that the SS dampers are "coming soon" and TEIN is saying that they are out. I 'll post the reply when I get it.

LOL.. I know what youre getting it. But compared to the PITA I gotta go through with the Koni Reds to adjust them...Ill take the lazy approach of Tein and adjust them without getting out of my seat.
I'm not a hardcore autoxer....but I love the idea of being able to set them for spirited driving on the weekend....daily driving in the city...or when i decide to Autox set them up for that in a matter of minutes.
Even if I dont get the EDFC I still like the fact they are adjustable. I wanted the Tokiko's but Im quite sure the I'd have to fab them up a bit to get them to work woth my GC's.
And although Gravana's set up is also top notch...the wait was unreal.
I called Tein today but got voicemail...I know their site isnt updated.

well let me know. if they are seriously really out and not some more BS, then i;ll def be in on it... let me know how GW motorsports speak on it
yup all, they are out...they also have pillowball mounts for em....
just got off the phone with bryant, a local dealer for them and both called directly and found out...
the price is awesome! call a local dealer
What is the average price for them?
If all goes well... Ill have them in hand and on Car by Next Friday.... and driving the hell out of them by next weekend.
I may have to wait on the EDFC. $$$ will be low after this purchase.
I wonder if I'll get my SS before the other guys get thier gravana Coilovers

ordered today...
they come with pillowball mounted camber plates.
edfc to be out later.... works for me.
i wonder if i can just ordr the pillowball mounts?
When i picked up my car from tein i asked them that. They said it depended on how they sold them. If they offered the coilovers and and the mounts separetly then you'd be able to buy them. If they offered it as a full kit then there'd be no seperate part number to order them.

I've had both for months

You sir..are despicable.
Thats ok Ill have mine soon enough. Did you do the install of the EDFC or did Tein.
The thing with the pillowball mounts...When I spoke to Tein they told me they would have separate part numbers for both. But this week I found out from two distributors they are only selling the complete kit w/pillowball. Which still works for me

yeah edfc isnt out yet, according to ma-motorsports.com and gwmotorsports.com
those are the places i visited in person this week i think bryant is referring to.
chad, any chance you know your spring rates.... so far the info i am getting is 336 and 224.
Back awhile ago TEIN sent me this email about the EDFC.
"Chad,
The part number you need is EDKU3-12140. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Sales"
Art, I'm not sure, when I Iast asked, TEIN wasn't able to give me an answer.
My bad I thought thats what you meant when you said you had both for months. So you mean you've has the Tein SS and Basics? Or am I missing something?
But at least now I have the part number.

I've had 2 versions of the Super Streets.
They can be had on e-bay shops for around 1300 shipped with pillow ball mounts.
What difference do the pillow ball mounts make?.

are these tha same ones that are on gravana? ive heard those are more bumpy than prostreets or is this something totally new

TEIN has previously released the Type Basics. Rebound and compression are not adjustable, but height is. The TEIN Super Streets are height and rebound/compression adjustable. The pillow ball mounts are solid metal mounts that have the ability to adjust positive and negative camber.
