I was wondering is there any stack rear disk brake setups that I might find on a car at the junkyard that I could convert to my 97 z24. Also what other things could i find at a junkyard to gain performance?

There's a couple of write ups in this forum for converting Neon rears over for use on J's.

Both will require some machine work, but the first is a fair amount easier and cheaper than the second.

Neon Sport disk brake swap: Linky

GM N-Body Independent Rear Suspension swap: Linky

Also, a few people have done the Neon swap already. Only one person has done the IRS swap, but several are working on it right now. Both are fairly new ideas, and are still getting all the kinks and quirks worked out.

If you want to maintain use of your e-brake, you have to use the rears.

96-99 Neon Sports are what you're looking for.
