What do you guys think about the KYB GR-2 Shocks & Struts? Good or bad id like to know.
good as a replacement for stock units. Bad if you're using a lowering spring or coil-over. They are designed as OEM replacements, and won't last with a lowering kit.
I may not know much about cars, but I know two things....
1) Breaking things is expensive, and
2) Horsepower isn't cheap.
what would you recommend for lowering
I have GR-2's and the H&R springs and they ride very nicely together. 2 inch drop by the way.

Im thinking like 1.5 to 2 inch drop. I would like to get in and out of my driveway

the AGX's are only good for a 1.5 inch drop. any lower and the warrenty is void.
something lower, go with Koni Yellows.

GR-2 are stock replacement. Just so you know some people are riding on blown struts and think everything is fine. One guy i know thought the KYB GR-2's were fine till he took the off saw they were blown and then on the new better struts realized his car was not riding that well. You get use to how you car ride does not mean it is performing at its best.
