I just lowered my car the other day. I think it came out pretty good. Took me about 3 hours to do.
I lowered it on KYB AGX struts. The ride is great now and it stick to the road much better.
I know this pic is a little dark. Im trying to lighten up the pic
is that pro-kit springs??
No, they are Tein S-Tech Lowering springs
I use that same AC Delco jack at the track. What a piece of $#@. Good think I only paid $12 for it.
Anyways, looks good. Are those the 1.7/1.5 springs?
Yea the jack does suck. One of the castor wheels fell off while i was jacking up the car, good thing i had the jack stand under the car, otherwise id have some damage. Yea teh springs are 1.7/1.5. The ride is real nice and smooth with the AGX's, But If i go to the city(Chicago) im in trouble with all the pot holes and bumps. Just the other day i got about a foot of air because of a bump on the expressway in the city.
Still looks like you got alot of air in the back.... hard to tell with the lighting though.
looks good man, makes me itchy to get my tranny parts paid off so i can move on to fun stuff
.
J~
Steve-o looks good man. I dropped mine with teins on koni yellows. Yea it does suck driving in the city witht eh drop. sometimes i feel like im going to get pulled of\ver for swerving around them like im drunk......eh oh well looks good
ya know I have that same stupid jack,
ever since I got a new one it's been collecting dust.
If you guys think that jack sucks, try the wal-mart floor jack! That think makes the stock sicsor jack look like it's worth it's weight in gold!
Now my question is, how's the ride up front? the reason i ask is AGX's are only warrentied for upto a 1.5 drop.
None the less, the car looks good.
