Can anyone tell me how to adjust the E-brake on a 98' cav? I have to pull it all the way up for it to work. I 'm affraid its going to roll-away one of these days lol.

you have to take the rear tires off and take the drum off. there are 2 little spindals at the bottom i believe. tighten them. dont do what people say by going in reverse and jamming on the breaks and all. it doesnt work
Thanks for the info, Bagged. I have to do this to mine as well - when I do my front brakes with my Uncle on Saturday he is going to pull the rear wheels so we can check the rear brakes real quick on it too - hopefully we can get the E-brake adjusted right away as well.

Mine don't work at all - possiblity is that I need rear brakes I guess but it's nice to know where the adjustments are.
Thanks for the info Bagged!
