Ok, I've been needing to replace my shocks for a little while now, I was hoping to lower it on KYB AGXs w/ Eibach Pro Kit this summer... unfortunately I am on a tight budget so lowering it is out right now (not something I'm gonna cheap out on just to get it done)

So anyway, I'm looking at the KYB GR2s as a stock replacement, I can get a set for just about the same price as stocks or even monroes. I see everyone lists these as a stock replacement, but then I saw on Gravana Tuning's site there is a note in the description saying they WILL NOT work with a 16" factory wheel. Doesn't say why, though I assume it to be a clearance issue. Also does not specify if they mean 95-99 Z wheels, 00+ LS sport wheels, or all. Even though the GR2s are a stock replacement, I know aftermarket parts may have small differences in design.

My question being, is anyone running GR2s with a factory 16" wheel, and are you having any problems? Thanks

they will work perfectly fine on any wheel aslong as you don't get too wide or tall of tire stock size wont be an issue

Ok thanks...I didn't think there should be a problem, but thought it never hurts to ask. Right now I'm running stock tire size, and would imagine that won't change anytime in the near future.
