Well its finally time to lower my car after all these years. I've been doin some research and decided to go with KYB GR2's all the way around as this will be my daily driver. Now I wanted to see what you guys thought about spring wise. I was looking at the Eibach Pro-kit or the Suspension Techniques? What do you guys recommend on your experience?
Oh and I have a 2001 Sunfire SE Coupe. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Shawn
if you go with eibach go with the full kit with struts
The Eibach kit that comes with Eibach struts doesn't exist for out cars.
Im surprised that neither of you commented on the GR2s. They are a stock replacement strut and wont handle a drop. Pick up some AGXs instead. Alot of people love their AGXs and they are made to handle a decent drop.

If you already have the GR-2s then the Suspension Technique springs are you're only choice. I had them for three years on Gabriel Ultras and when I took them off there was no leaking oil and the rod still shot back up when pushed down. Spring rate on the Suspension Technique is pretty low and the only spring I can think of that will match up alright with OEM replacement struts. If you haven't bought the GR-2s then look at the AGX/Prokit setup.
Thanks for the info guys! After much review i'm gonna go with Koni Yellows and the Eibach pro-kit.
Now all I have to do is find a decent place to get these in Canada at a great price.

just saw it on ebay
Link? I just searched ebay and saw nothing. Someone on here actually got ahold of Eibach and was told that the plans for Eibach Struts for our cars were scrapped.

What you know about Street Racing anyways? Only what Fast & Furious taught us....
SO EVERYTHING!
How could the GR2s not handle a ProKit drop? I mean I know a lot of people who put prokits on stock struts...I'm just gonna do that. (let the flaming begin) lol until I can get a set of AGXs at least...
