Hi there im getting ready to install my new d-specs. I bought new rear mounts and new 95 to 98 front mounts. My car is an 03. I know that suspension parts are interchangable but the front strut mounts look like they are missing something. Do i need any thing else maybe the top washer cap thing. It didn't come with any or does my car have the ones i need to reuse. If i do have to get them can i buy just the caps? Please help me out im changing these on wendsday and running out of time.

I also read that the 95-98 mounts raise the car up a bit. Is this true? Is there any way around it. Im lowering the car to get rid of the wheel gap i dont want to add an extra 1/2 inch!!!

i think the older ones are in a few pieces. so that you can just replace the bushing. without knowing what you have (like what came in your kit) i am kinda out of help

I think the 98 mounts are better, but I am not sure. If you want them to ride good for a long time I would suggest a solid mount. THere a little more but wont wear out in 6-12 months.

Since were on the subject, is there any discount for org members, j/w. I was looking into getting new mounts, (my front end wants to fall apart from the sounds of it). I priced about $60 for a pair of Monroe mounts. Id like to get solids but im on stock suspension and my moneys all tied up in school loans. Would it be worth it to get the solid mounts.

Sorry, if im gonna buy any stock type, ill get them at Advance Auto for $60 for the pair, im getting the 00+ style if I do anyways.
